Privacy Policy

InsightEducat (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Cassandra Chamberlin, sole trader, trading as InsightEducat. This policy explains what personal information we collect through insighteducat.com, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at insighteducat@gmail.com.
1. The information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us, through the forms and features on this site.
Newsletter and update sign-ups
If you sign up for bootcamp dates, free resources, or qualification updates, we collect your email address, and your name if you provide it.
Student bootcamp bookings
If you book a place on a Business Bootcamp, we collect: the student's name and year group; the parent or guardian's name, email address and phone number; the student's phone number, if provided; preferred bootcamp dates and location; and any details you choose to share about the student's interests or career aspirations. This information is submitted by a parent or guardian on the student's behalf.
Business enquiries
If you enquire as a business wanting to host students, we collect: your name, company name, email address, phone number and position; your preferred bootcamp dates and location; and details of the problem or project you'd like students to help with.
Free resource downloads
If you download one of our free resources (including the Agency Toolkit, Business Name and Brand Identity Kit, Find Your Business Idea, Goal to Action Roadmap, Ikigai for Entrepreneurs, Start Up Starter Kit, and Entrepreneur Tips for Parents), we collect the email address, and any other details, needed to process that order through our Wix store, even though these resources are free.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, insighteducat.com automatically collects some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and which pages you viewed. This is collected through Wix's built-in site analytics.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
-
respond to bootcamp bookings and business enquiries, and organise the relevant bootcamp
-
send you bootcamp dates, free resources, and updates on the entrepreneurship qualification, if you've asked for these
-
deliver the free resource you've requested
-
understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for anything beyond the purposes above.
3. Children's information
Some of the information we collect relates to students under 18, submitted to us by a parent or guardian through the student booking form. We only use this information to organise the bootcamp the student has been booked onto, and to send updates if the parent or guardian has opted in. We do not contact students directly using details submitted through this form without a parent or guardian's involvement.
4. How we store and protect your information
This website is built and hosted on Wix.com. Information submitted through our forms is stored on Wix's secure servers and in our Wix site dashboard. We don't currently process any payments through this site — all bootcamps and resources are free — so we don't collect or store card or billing details. If this changes, we'll update this policy to explain how payment information is handled.
5. How long we keep your information
-
Booking and enquiry information (student bookings, business enquiries) is kept until the relevant bootcamp cycle has ended, then deleted, unless you've separately opted in to receive future updates.
-
If you've opted in to receive updates (bootcamp dates, free resources, qualification news), we keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
6. Who we share your information with
We don't share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. The only third party involved in handling your data is Wix.com, who host this website and provide the forms and store you're using — they process data on our behalf as part of providing that hosting service.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site uses Wix's own built-in site analytics, which may use cookies to understand how visitors use the site. We don't currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party tracking tools. If that changes, we'll update this policy and add a cookie notice so you can manage your preferences.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
-
ask what information we hold about you
-
ask us to correct information that's wrong or out of date
-
ask us to delete your information
-
withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time (each email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us directly)
-
object to how we're using your information, or ask us to restrict it
-
complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you think we've handled your information incorrectly
To exercise any of these rights, email insighteducat@gmail.com.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example as the site or the way we collect information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
10. Contact us
